Hi. I’m Spencer Slater and I own and run Auroras Copywriting.
Having spent over 20 years in media advertising for a blue chip company, I’ve spoken strategy, planning, targeting, launches and sales-speak for as long as I can remember.
The corporate world is full of jargon, acronyms and incomprehensible processes. Part of my remit was to cut through this deliberately mystifying fog of words and make the complex simple. Now that I run a Copywriting Agency, it still is.
I left the corporate world in 2010 (or so I thought) and embarked on a Freelance Copywriting career. This change in direction has seen me work with all kind of different organisations, from micro-businesses and creative agencies to SMEs and blue chip companies.
It got to the point that I could no longer handle everything myself, so I gathered together a team of highly talented writers to help me help you.
Making the complex simple is still a large part of what we do. Whether it’s through website content, brochures, white papers or any other type of marketing material, we help companies communicate their message so that it actually means something to their customers.
About 60% of what we do is research, and the other 40% is writing. We get under the skin of the businesses we work with, understand what you are trying to achieve, who your target audience is, what your tone of voice is like and then craft copy that’s perfect for you.
